The Garter Yoke Baby Cardi, a free pattern on Ravelry, is one of our favorite patterns that we have knit before in a different yarn. This easy to follow, neck down pattern is versatile. It can be made for a baby girl or boy, or gender neutral. Buttons just in the yoke or down the whole button band? You decide!
This time we used Jody Long's new yarn, Eco Tweed. This is an organic, dk weight, tweedy yarn that when blocked, blooms to a soft fabric. One skein will make this sweet cardi. (The buttons shown on our model are available for online purchase too.) This yarn would be great for any adult accessory or garment.
