Summer Hearts was designed by local designer Reah Janise Kauffman to be both casual and dressy. It is worked with Elsebeth Lavold's Hempathy, which is a lovely yarn: It gets softer as you wear it, has a great drape and retains its shape.
The body of the sweater is worked flat, so there is minimal seaming and the sleeves are knit in the round. The lace gives it stretch, and of course, some built in air conditioning.
