Little Lamb

When Cheryl saw the Little Lamb pattern by Julie Weisenberger of Cocoknits she thought about Berroco's Vibe yarn that we have at the shop. It's a super-soft cotton and wool blend that knits up to a similar gauge as the pattern.

There is nothing quite as sweet as a little kimono-style sweater for a baby. It is easy for mom or dad to get the wee one into and a cozy hug for the baby.

We carry 9 colors of Vibe. Cheryl's next Little Lamb will be in the navy! The pattern is a quick knit.  Our sample was worked on a #11 circular needle at a gauge just a bit tighter (13.5 sts to 4") than the pattern that is worked at 12 sts to 4".  Cheryl looked through her fabric leftovers and found a cute check to use for the ties. The possibilities are endless when you are mixing yarn and fabric!  The smallest size will take a bit over one skein of Vibe. If you buy three skeins you can easily make two baby kimonos in the smallest size. It's faster than making two socks, by a long shot! (This pattern has sizes from 6 months to 4 years.)

Please note: This is a hand-wash yarn.
