We Are Now Open! (with adjusted hours)
On May 11, the governor of Maine allowed retail stores in rural counties of the state -- where there was no evidence of community spread of the virus -- to reopen with safety protocols in place. We were happy to reopen, and we used this week to observe the quiet return of customers, making sure that safety precautions were adhered to or improved by both staff and people entering the shop.
We are asking that all customers entering the shop wear a face mask and sanitize their hands upon entering the shop with sanitizer provided at the door. Our shop is large enough to easily maintain a 6-foot distance between others with a 5-customer limit. With the nice weather finally arriving and the door open most of the time, there is good air flow too.
At this time, and until further notice, we will not be accepting returns (except for defective products). If you are unsure of the quantity o
f yarn you will need, we will happily reserve a skein or two for you. We hope you understand that this has 100% to do with the safety of others.
We continue to keep busy adding more yarns that can be purchased directly from the Heavenly Yarns section on the Fiber of Maine website. We are offering free shipping on a purchase of $30 or more until the end of May. (Use code LOVEMAINE in the discount code box at the checkout.) There is an option at the checkout for curbside pickup too!
We continue to offer curbside pickup as well as shipping for any product that is not available on our website. The free shipping on a purchase of $30 or more applies to phone orders too.
Through May, our hours are Monday through Saturday 11 am-4 pm. We are reserving 10-11 am on these mornings for phone orders and 4-6 pm each of these days for half-hour private (shopping) appointments scheduled ahead of time.
