We have a new yarn from Lang Yarns -- probably from one of the first shipments to the United States -- called Alpaca Soxx. It is 70% wool/30% nylon. Although it is in our sock area, it probably can be used for any fingering weight project. It feels super soft and is labeled as machine washable.
