Some New Yarns!

Isager Alpaca 2 is a beautiful, light fingering weight yarn.

Isager Sock is a fingering weight, alpaca/wool/nylon blend.

Klima is a new dk weight yarn hand-dyed by Maine's Seven Sister Arts.

Patagonia Merino Hand Paints now compliments its solid colorways. (We are itching to start the Pressed Flowers shawl with this yarn.)

Polaris Sock by Snallygaster Fibers is a hand-dyed (from Maine!) self-striping sock yarn.

Regia Tweed Sock yarn (in both fingering and sport weights) gives interest to socks that call for a solid color.

New sock yarn colorways from Lang and Online.

Tusambe by Noro is a dk weight self-striping silk blend. (We saw a customer wearing a simple raglan pullover made with just 2 balls of this yarn and it was beautiful!)

Garter Yoke Baby Cardi

The Garter Yoke Baby Cardi, a free pattern on Ravelry, is one of our favorite patterns that we have knit before in a different yarn. This easy to follow, neck down pattern is versatile. It can be made for a baby girl or boy, or gender neutral. Buttons just in the yoke or down the whole button band? You decide!

This time we used Jody Long's new yarn, Eco Tweed. This is an organic, dk weight, tweedy yarn that when blocked, blooms to a soft fabric. One skein will make this sweet cardi. (The buttons shown on our model are available for online purchase too.) This yarn would be great for any adult accessory or garment.

We could offer gift cards that look like all other gift cards from large businesses, but that would mean we would have to buy into a program and lose our local credit card processor and we do not want to give up the local connection.

The QR code that is generated when you purchase a gift card online makes it much easier for us when checking out in our brick and mortar store. The gift card is easy to redeem in our online shop, too!

When you purchase a gift card online from us for a gift, you can print it out to give to your recipient. If you want to email a gift card to a recipient, you need to purchase it and then forward it to your recipient. (This is a little quirk because we have chosen to keep our local card processor.)
